Emma Figge is thrilled to be back at Western Reserve Playhouse working on this production with a wonderful team of young people. Emma is originally from Quincy, IL and studied Music Theatre and Dance at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. Emma is a freelance director and choreographer in the greater Cleveland area, with recent choreography and directorial credits including All Shook Up and Shrek Jr!(French Creek Theatre); Seussical Jr., Finding Nemo Jr., Legally Blonde, and Newsies (West Geauga Schools). In addition to working behind the scenes, Emma continues to perform, with favorite past onstage credits including Percy Talbot (The Spitfire Grill), Charity Valentine (Sweet Charity), and Suzy (The Marvelous Wonderettes). Emma is a company member and on Executive Staff at Northeast Ohio Creatives.
We are auditioning young artists (age 9-19) for our upcoming Cabaret!
Please send in a 1-2 minute video of you singing a song that you love from the musical theatre genre. This could include solo, duet, or trio song cuts. Please use a karaoke track or perform with live accompaniment. Include a resume and headshot if you have one, and please include general availability from March 6th-May 1st.
We will have 4-6 rehearsals to prepare duets and possible group numbers. These rehearsals will be built around the performers schedules and performers may not be called to all rehearsals.
Audition Submission Deadline: March 6th
Casting Decisions by: March 12th
Performance Date: Friday, May 1st 7:00pm
