The Kentucky Cycle Passport
As Western Reserve Playhouse embarks on a year-long journey through The Kentucky Cycle, we’re inviting you to explore more than just our stage. The Kentucky Cycle Passport is a free, community-centric way to discover local history, arts, and nature while you follow this epic story across our entire 2026–2027 season.
What Is the Passport?
The Kentucky Cycle Passport is a small booklet filled with spaces for collectible stickers. Each sticker represents a partner location or a special moment in our season-long production of The Kentucky Cycle. As you visit participating sites and attend performances, you’ll “stamp” your passport with unique stickers that tell a story of their own.
Think of it as part history scavenger hunt, part theatre keepsake, and part celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

Why a Passport?
The Kentucky Cycle spans 200 years of American history, exploring questions of land, legacy, power, and who gets written into the story. Our Semiquincentennial Passport extends that idea beyond the stage:
Connecting our audiences with local history, culture, and natural spaces.
Encouraging families and friends to explore Bath, Richfield, and the surrounding area together.
Creating a tangible memento of this once-in-a-lifetime, year-long theatrical project.
Where Can I Get Stickers?
You’ll find Kentucky Cycle Passport stickers in two main categories:
Community Stops
Local museums, historical sites, arts organizations, and nature partners are each featured with their own custom sticker. Visit during their regular open hours, look for the Kentucky Cycle Passport sign, and ask a staff member for your sticker.
WRP Exclusives
Western Reserve Playhouse offers ten exclusive stickers tied directly to our Kentucky Cycle programming—one for each episode and special events throughout the year. These stickers are only available at WRP performances and activities related to the cycle.
Who Can Participate?
Anyone! The Kentucky Cycle Passport is designed to be:
Fun for families with kids who enjoy collecting and exploring.
Engaging for history buffs and theatre lovers who want a deeper experience.
A low-pressure way for new audiences to get to know WRP and our community partners.
How Much Does It Cost?
The passport itself is free. Normal admission fees may apply at some partner locations, and standard ticket prices apply for performances at Western Reserve Playhouse.

Five Bucks Series 2026 The Kentucky Cycle
The Kentucky Cycle is an unprecedented, yearlong theatrical event at Western Reserve Playhouse — a sweeping, ten-part epic that unfolds across American history and across our entire 2026 season. Told in a series of standalone but interconnected episodes, the cycle follows four families over 200 years and their legacies of violence, hope, and survival.
Prior to presenting the cycle in it’s entirety December 5 & 6, WRP is bringing The Kentucky Cycle to life throughout the year in an episodic format, allowing audiences to follow the story across months as it builds toward its powerful conclusion.
Attend one episode — or a few — or tune in for the entire journey in two glorious theatrical binge sessions. No matter what, we guarantee that you’ll be a part of this rare theatrical achievement: 200 years of American history as we reflect on 250 years of America’s legacy.
Only at WRP.
