Western Reserve Playhouse Presents Neil Simon’s Hilarious Rumors

[BATH, OH] – Western Reserve Playhouse is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of Neil Simon’s uproarious comedy Rumors, running from February 7 to February 22, 2025. Performances will be held every Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM, with a special matinee on Sunday, February 16, at 2:00 PM. This laugh-out-loud farce will be brought to life in the intimate 97-seat theater housed within our historic 160-year-old barn.

Set in a sophisticated New York townhouse, Rumors follows a group of upper-class friends gathering for what should be an elegant dinner party. Instead, they find chaos: their host is injured, his wife is missing, and none of the guests can seem to get their stories straight. As secrets unravel and cover-ups spiral out of control, this comedy of errors delivers a whirlwind of hilarity, mistaken identities, and Neil Simon’s signature wit.

The production features a stellar cast of returning and new talent. Joe Soriano, Jessica Learoyd, Sullivan Ratcliff, Lauren Koleszar, Brian Jackson, and Brianna Hohenfeld, all familiar faces to Western Reserve Playhouse audiences, are joined by newcomers Maggie Adler, Cory Enriquez, Emily Schrader, and Jack Routhier. Their combined energy and comedic prowess promise to deliver a performance you won’t want to miss.
